Teal The Cows Come Home

Hi de hi de hi!

(um, this is where you say “Ho di ho di ho!”. Anybody? No?)

Here’s another delightful winter colour from the new Essence polishes, Multi Dimension XXL Shine Nail Polish 64 Trendsetter. It’s a deep forest green-teal creme.

indoor, natural light

*sigh*

Isn’t it lovely? More pictures.

outside, daylight, stubby fingers (um, that's water on my ring finger, the grass was wet :P)

indoors with flash

This is two coats of colour – it is GORGEOUSLY creamy and opaque. I added a top-coat of Essence 01 Absolute Pure to see how it would look.

lovely and shiny

Ah, I wish my cuticles were in better condition. I took these photos nearly a month ago, and now they’re all dry and flakey and sad. Wah. Time to slather them with Vaseline and hope for the best!

Anyway, I adored this polish – it lasted well and is perfect for winter. I got another bottle from the XXXL range, which I plan to paint my nails with today.

Slán for now!

  1. I loff it.

Also, your cuticles look lavely, don’t be worrying about them. Mine are cut to shreds from scrubbing in and constant hand washing. All in the name of infection control!

    • tank-oo, my cuticles are not lavely at all though! in those pictures, they’re not so bad, but now – eek. Hmm, there should be a cuticle-care set for doctors – sacrificing your manicure is above and beyond the call of duty.

ho di ho di ho. (you’re welcome)

  3. Ooh, I really, really like this one! Where do you find Essence? It’s not a brand I tend to see around Dublin much. But maybe I’m just looking in the wrong places.

    • It’s pretty, ain’t it? I buy Essence in Cara Pharmacy and Wards Pharmacy in Sligo. Actually the first Essence polish I bought was in Dunnes Stores on (I think) Henry Street in Dublin – apart from that, I’m not sure where else in Dublin to find it. Maybe in smaller pharmacies? I’m not even sure if Boots does it…
